Loving and Serving God and Others

About

That is our mission statement--to love and serve both God and others. To help us do that, we plan for a variety of events and activities that stretch beyond the regular services of the church. You can see some of our upcoming events listed below. We would love to have you join us!

Operation Christmas Child

We are partnering with Samaritan's Purse to fill shoe boxes to be a blessing to children around the world. Boxes are available at the church on Sunday mornings, feel free to take as many as you want to fill with toys, school supplies, and necessities as we spread joy to the world through our giving. Along with your contributions, the boxes will include a devotional that will share a clear message of the Gospel. We'd love to have you participate with us--ask for your boxes this Sunday!

Missions Month

During the month of October we will focus on the Gospel message as it spreads throughout the world in the variety of ways we at Neath have done so over the years. Through camp ministries, radio broadcasts, pregnancy care centers, and missionaries that serve overseas, Neath supports a wide variety of ministries and individuals that share the gospel. Join us every Sunday in October (and the first Sunday in November) as we emphasize those on the front lines who are sharing the Gospel!

Welcome

Join us Sundays at 9:30 am as we tackle the doctrines of the Christian faith. Everyone who attend will receive a free workbook that will help reinforce the class material. Alexandar Hamilton once said, “Those who stand for nothing will fall for anything.” For Christians, this is a good reminder that we must know what it is we believe and how our beliefs affect the way we live. The Apostle Paul told Timothy to hold onto the pattern of sound teaching he provided (2 Timothy 1:13). In this day and age where truth fluctuates like shifting shadows, the truth delivered once for all for the saints (Jude 3) is something we should all be certain of. While there are always going to be disagreements about some of the secondary issues, we will be discussing the sound doctrine (or teaching) that many who believe in Jesus hold to as Truth. As we grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus (2 Peter 3:18), we will be able to hold fast throughout the storms of life (Ephesians 4:14).
